The Hay on Wye Horse Show website was previously designed using CM Simple. A content management system that doesn’t use a database. You will not see much change in the site layout as I have kept the same style, just brought it up to date. WordPress will enable the site to be kept current with all the latest show news.

Crychan Forest Trails Website Redesigned

All the Crychan Forest cycle trails, horse riding trails, walking trails and carriage driving trails are now available as individual maps to view and download. The Crychan Forest Association are also encouraging the users of the trails to submit their photographs to the website.

The website changes are ongoing with written description of the trail route being preparing.

All the trails are waymarked and colour coded. There are nearly 200 marker posts in Crychan and Halfway forests.

The Crychan Forest Association website is the place to go to get all the Crychan Forest news and details of events occurring in the forest.

UK Architectural Heritage

UK Architectural Heritage specialise in the retail of architectural antique and selected reclaimed items. They can now list their stock items on their redesigned website. Stock items include a vast array of architectural antiques, architectural salvage, reclamation, antiques, industrial antiques and reclaimed building materials.

The latest news about products and activities can now also be easily added.

Uk Architectural Heritage are based in Wormelow South Herefordshire and their stock can be viewed by appointment.

Maple Aion Website Launched

Maple Aion are a construction company in the West Midlands. A area of the web site has been set up to enable clients to view / download Health and Safety documentation like Method Statements and Risk Assessments. This is password protected.

The site also has a quote form so you can specify your requirements for a steel framed building.

The site has the potential to expand with News, Case studies and galleries coming soon.

Tamar Valley Counselling Website Launched

Jill Abbott has taken her new business Tamar Valley Counselling to the next level with the launch of her website.

Jill has a passion for helping people “I work holistically with ‘thoughts feelings and behaviours’ patterns of relating and anything left over from the past. I am an by nature an empathic person and will use an integrative approach personalising how I work on what the client brings to each session.”

Jill has also used the website to showcase some of her poetry which she uses to express herself. “Whether having happy, pensive or confusing thoughts, the ability to de clutter my mind by writing, then reading back what has tumbled out rhythmically onto paper in verse, is for me therapy in itself.”

Improved Search for Dragon Driving

I have improved the search facility on Dragon Driving. You can now search the large number of equestrian adverts by a number of categories eg price bracket or size bracket. The results can also be ordered by price, size or date. The main improvement is the ability to see adverts from a particular area. Multiple areas can be selected by pressing Ctrl and selecting another area from the list.

Plas Equestrian Show Dates

Plas Equestrian have posted on their website the dates and venues where Plas Equestrian will be exhibiting this year. The most popular venue is the Royal Welsh Showground. The first outing is at Lampter Stallion Show and they are going as far as Endurance G.B. Berkshire Downs Ride at Alden Equestrian Centre.

Blaise International

I was asked to update the branded product distribution page of the Blaise International website. I used the opportunity to convert the whole site from a tables based site to use modern web standards. The title and description tags were updated on each page to improve SEO and usability.

Plas Equestrian website update

The Plas Equestrian website has been updated to modern web standards and extra pages added to highlight there extensive range of driving harness, endurance equipment, riding equipment, white halters and head collars and other equestrian equipment. All made by hand in South Wales.

Dragon Driving Tweeks

A few tweeks have been completed on the Driving Driving Horses for sale web site. The search facility has been made more prominent on each page. A simple search can be made with one click rather than going to a search page. The subscribe to the Dragon Driving daily listings newsletter has also been added to each page. The newsletter is emailed out each morning and lists all the new adverts and all the advert which have been changed in the previous 24 hours.

There have also been some javascript changes the tabbed panel and image enlargement / overlay is now performed using jquery. Users can now navigate between advert images.

Look out for some more tweeks to the Dragon Driving website in the near future.
